Venue gets a touch of artistic flare

A young artist has put her mark on Matlock’s newest events and entertainments venue by painting a mural.

Lilly Hammond, of Ashover, has created a masterpiece at the Loft, in Crown Square, which will remain in place for years to come.

The 19–year–old said: “Doing the mural at the Loft was such a privilege and exciting experience for me.
