A CASTLETON confectioner is celebrating after winning a prestigious Great Taste Award.
Cocoadance has been presented with a much-desired Gold Great Taste Award for its Rhubarb and Rhubarb & Nettle Jelly Truffle.

David Golubows and Bridget Joyce, featured many times on TV and magazine, produce a limited amount of fancy handmade chocolates and confectionary to their unique style and taste using local ingredients whenever possible.

Their products are available nationally and locally, as well as online and at local farmers' markets.

David said: "We are delighted with this award. This will sit nicely next to the gold we won in 2003.

"This sums up a great year so far as we have also been short listed for this year's Tourism Experience category of the East Midlands Enjoy England Excellence Awards 2008/9 for our 'complete chocolate experience' which takes part in our workshop in the amazing surrounding of our National Trust farm on the outskirts of Castleton."

The Great Taste Awards are often referred to as the Oscars of the food industry.
