Family fun at Lafarge open day

IN CELEBRATION of the completion of its major rail expansion project, Lafarge Cement is holding a fun-filled weekend of family, friendly events at Hope Works.
The Open Days on Saturday September 6 and Sunday September 7 will run from 10am to 4pm, with entertainment on offer including steam train rides, works tours (via minibus), bouncy castle, locally provided music, face painting, refreshments and an exhibition.

Parking will be available at the Works, but for those who prefer to leave the car at home, a special bus will pick-up visitors from Castleton Bus Station, Hope Station and Hope Church.

The bus will leave the Works on the hour and half hour, starting from 10.30am, with the last bus leaving at 3pm for the last pick-up of the day.
