Puppet grant from Co-op

BUXTON puppet group Funny Wonders has been awarded a £1,000 grant from The Co-operative's Community Fund.
The funding will pay for professional artists to help the youngsters make puppets for the Buxton Puppet Festival, which runs from July 28 to August 2.
The grant is also being used to hire a venue where the youngsters can rehearse their puppet production before performing it at the Buxton Opera House.
