Glossop TIC is a success
THE TOURIST information service in Glossop is now permanent after a successful six-month trial.
Supported by High Peak Borough Council, the service, at Glossop Heritage and Information Centre, exceeded all expectations.
The opening hours will be extended to six days each week during the summer months, opening Monday to Saturday inclusive, from 10am to 4pm each day.
It is hoped that residents as well as visitors to the town will benefit from the additional hours.
Upstairs, the Heritage Trust has frequently changing exhibitions on display alongside work from local artists.
