This year's Health Festival runs for one week and starting on Saturday June 7, it continues until Sunday June 15. Events range from recipes for fruit and vegetables to salsa dancing for wheelchair users.
The launch this year will be at the Hattersley Annual Fun Day, between 11am- 3pm on June 7 at Hattersley Community Centre.
Attractions include a dental health-healthy buffet, kids pantomime, aerobics, line dancing, face painting, bouncy castle, free fruit and much more, which will be attended by over 160 children from three local schools.
The aim of the Health is for Life Festival is to create fun and enjoyable events that will support and advise local people in improving their health.
