A family fun afternoon is being held in aid of Brain Tumour UK at the Old Packhorse, Chapel-en-le-Frith, on August 30 from noon.
Events range from bouncy castles and soak the landlord to a barrel-carrying time trial, with a yard of ale as a prize.

A 24-hour darts marathon starts at 6pm on the Saturday. And at 5.30pm, there will be a charity auction for two tickets to Manchester City v Chelsea on September 13.

* Michael Lawson's Rock Night will be held at The Prince of Wales in Buxton tomorrow night (Friday) from 9pm. This will be followed on the Saturday evening by a disco from 8pm.
