THE Strawberry Moon Festival is a major REAP project and will showcase the cream of local talent in music, drama, dance, crafts and many more art forms on Saturday June 28 and Sunday June 29.
It is held at the Severn Trent Waters, Tittesworth site, near Leek, forming the perfect, picturesque backdrop.
There is a 'Makers Market' which will be an opportunity to try, taste and buy from local food producers and creative businesses, from
photographers to jewellery makers to ceramicists.
The festival will showcase a wide range of creative talent and budding performers from around the Midlands. First and foremost, this is a great family day out for people everywhere.
There will be something for everyone, as this event hosts all arts, rural crafts, music, film and dance in local communities.
The weekend hosts a wide range of professional artists, musicians and performers from across our creative region working with us, from Stoke, Derby, Buxton, Bakewell, Ashbourne, Cheadle, Chapel-en-le-Frith, New Mills, Leek and Matlock – to name but a few.
Projects Director Tina Ball said: "With so much to do and get involved in, we hope that festival goers see our event as excellent value for money and more importantly, an opportunity to learn a wide range of new skills and to enjoy a great day out.
