Tideswell's festivities

THE LARGEST group of royalty for many years has been chosen for Tideswell Wakes.
Led by Wakes Queen Tara Phillips the new royalty will be crowned at St John the Baptist Church, Tideswell on Saturday, June 21.

The ceremony will take place immediately after the traditional procession and well blessings which start at 3pm in Tideswell Pot Market.

On Saturday June 28 the week of events comes to a close with the annual carnival processions.
