We'd like to say a big thank you to everyone who attended the One World Festival in New Mills despite of the terrible weather.
We were running the 'One World, One Bag' stall which was promoting the launch of the New Mills Plastic Bag Free campaign.

The response to the campaign was overwhelmingly and we were pleasantly surprised to sell out of the 'New Mills, One World, One Bag' promotional bags.

We now have well over a hundred signatures to present to the local supermarkets to ask them to change their plastic bag policies and really hope that by all the residents working together we really can make a change.
