THE GENERAL meeting, hosted by the "Singing for Fun" group, was well attended.
The audience was entertained by Terry Carter, known as The Early Music Man.

Terry brought along about 20 early musical instruments and dressed as an Elizabethan musician.

He demonstrated each one in turn, telling us something of their history together with many an amusing anecdote.

There was also much audience participation.

The next meeting on September 8 will be hosted by the Table Tennis group.

Meetings are held at Buxton Methodist Church, starting with coffee at 10am.
