Buxton win 6-5 on penalties

BUXTON are through to the UniBond Premier Division Play Off Final with a 6-5 sudden death victory on penalties over Witton Albion.

Gregg Anderson scored the winning spot kick to secure his side a place in Saturday's final, where Buxton will face Gateshead, who were 4-0 winners over Eastwood Town in Tuesday night's other semi-final clash.

Neil Ross had earlier given Buxton the lead in first half stoppage time, but Adam Warlow scored a last gasp equaliser in the 90th minute to take the game into extra time.

Buxton: Hartley, Black, Maxfield, Bowker, Anderson, Foster (Turley, 91), Lees, Towey, Ross (Walker, 69), Bradley (Lennon, 81), Agus.
